No Accounts, No Server-Side Storage
CrediSim doesn't require an account, a login, or any personal information to use. The numbers you enter (loan amount, rate, term, etc.) are calculated directly in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers. A share link simply encodes your inputs into the URL itself — nothing is saved on our side.
Importing Your Repayment Schedule
If you choose to start from a repayment schedule your bank gave you, the PDF is read entirely inside your browser. The file is never uploaded, and neither the file, its name, nor anything read from it is sent to us or to any third party. We record only anonymous counts — how many imports were read, how many of those were then used, and how many failed (with a general reason such as "password-protected" or "scanned document") — never what the document contained. The figures you then choose to use are treated like any other number you enter: they stay in your browser.
Analytics
We use Simple Analytics and Vercel Analytics, two privacy-focused analytics services, to understand overall usage (e.g., which pages are visited). Neither uses cookies or collects personally identifiable information — no IP address logging tied to individual visitors, no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles. We only ever see aggregate numbers, never data about any single visitor.
Error Monitoring
We use Sentry to be alerted when a technical error occurs (for example, if a page fails to load correctly). If an error happens, a report is sent automatically containing the error message and technical details about your browser — never the values you entered into the calculator (loan amount, interest rate, etc.), the parameters from a share link, or anything from a repayment schedule you import.
Third Parties
Beyond our hosting provider (needed to serve the website itself) and the services described above (Simple Analytics, Vercel Analytics, Sentry), CrediSim does not share data with any third party. We don't sell data, because we don't collect any to sell.
Cookies
CrediSim does not use cookies.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the product evolves — for example, if a future feature introduces accounts or additional third-party services. Any such change will be reflected on this page.
